APD asks for help identifying suspect in machete robbery at Guadalupe Street Walgreens

Austin police are asking for the public’s help identifying a suspect in an aggravated robbery at a North Campus Walgreens, according to a news release from the Austin Police Department.

APD Robbery Unit detectives say the robbery happened Saturday, June 20, at approximately 5:41 a.m. at the Walgreens located at 4501 Guadalupe Street. According to the department, the suspect entered the store and demanded property from an employee while armed with a machete.

No arrest had been announced as of this writing. Anyone with information can contact APD or submit an anonymous tip through Capital Area Crime Stoppers.
