What you can expect here: coverage of arrests and cases as they move through the Travis County courts, public safety news that affects real neighborhoods, and community reporting on the city we actually live in. What you will not find: gossip, hearsay, or coverage written to humiliate anyone.

Two commitments before we publish a single case. First, everyone we write about is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law. That sentence appears on every page of this site and we mean it. Second, removals and updates are always free. If your case resolved in your favor, we update or remove the story at no charge, no exceptions.
